LFW AW11 shows: Day 5

Tuesday - the last day of the women's shows was a struggle, I can't lie. I really seriously thought about wearing some trainers or uggs and a pair of leggings, but in the end opted for some super-comfy open-toe Kurt Geiger boots and my trusted black jumpsuit with a jumper. I always feel super-chic and stylish in monochrome, and the look was simple enough for me to allow my hair to go wild, which suited me perfectly.

LFW AW11 shows: Day 4

Only what 2 days late with this post! This is what I wore on Monday - although it feels like a million years ago. This is the only (acceptable) picture of me from Monday....and I'm eating two bags of popcorn at the same time - so you can imagine what the others are like! If it makes it any better I only actually brought one bag of popcorn, but I was eating it with such desperate zeal, that the man behind the counter gave me another bag out of sympathy. Actually, I'm not sure that really makes it better after all....

LFW AW11 shows: Day 3 (one day late oops)!

Oops, sorry, a day late with this post, as today is the 5th and final day of this seasons LFW marathon!

Anyway, this is what I wore on Sunday....as I couldn't work out what else would go with my new (and slightly disastrous) hair! Also, my feet needed a rest from heels!

Boots - Duo

Yes, on Sunday I was a real high-street hero (except for the boots)!

LFW AW11 shows: Day 2

Ok - so am now officially knackered. Urgh, have felt better than I do this morning....

So, yesterday was another super-busy day topped off by a red stripe at Piers Atkinsons party. Lurvely. Yesterday's look was totally different from Friday's. It's no secret that I LOVE a pair of leggings, and this leopard print jodpur style H&M pair are my current faves. The overall look I was going for was kinda a Downtown NY/French Bourgeois rock-chic mash-up....

Hat - My daddy's
Coat - My mum's
Jumper - Topshop
Leggings - H&M
Boots - Made to order, Ellery
Bag - Love Moschino

LFW AW11 shows: Day 1

Morning lovely followers!

So LFW kicked off yesterday, and I just wanted to take 5 mins out the madness to update you on what I wore, and how you can follow me!

I'm calling yesterday's look S&M Maggy Thatcher. I had a weird Maggy Thatcher dream the other night, where I was telling her about the joys of powerplating (random, I know) - I'm guessing it was inspired by that pic of Meryl Streep that was doing the rounds a couple of weeks ago, and an ep of WifeSwap I watched the day before! Either way I'd definitely say she's in the public consciousness at the moment, so thought it was only right to channel her this LFW.

Ciao ciao for now xxx

In another life...

...this is what I could have looked like (if only I had tall skinny model genes, and not these dumpy Ashkenazi Jew ones). Anyway, I hope you can all still see it's me in all my signature 'winter look' glory - turban and all! This sketch was done by the very talented and lovely Joana Faria at launch for Amelia's Compendium of Fashion Illustration featuring the very best in ethical fashion designers, book launch a couple of Friday's ago. I seriously heart it. Immortalised by a fashion illustrator - whatever next?

Majestic Gina

Aren't they just heavenly! I popped into Gina this morning to do a quick press pull (which predictably turned into 1 1/2 hours of gossip and fashion chat with pr's Angie and Lorraine), and couldn't leave without snapping a shot of these beauties. When I spied them on Lorraine's desk they took my breath away; the softest, palest, most perfect ballerina pink silk - all I could do was point and squeak 'Black Swan shoes'. Having thought long and hard about it all day, I've come to the conclusion that I heart them so very much, that if I were to be invited to the Royal wedding this year I would 100% plan my entire outfit around them....well it wouldn't be fair for Kate to be the only 'middle class' Princess in the room now would it!

Working my winter look

In the last month or so I've become practically inseparable from the following 3 items:
1. My teal vintage turban.
2. My mother's Brown mini-trench with black faux-fur cuffs and collar from the '80's
3. My studded leather fingerless gloves.

On their own they are fantastic. Together they're an unbeatable team - my winter armour against the cold weather and cold world.

Peace out xx
