It's CHRIIIIIIISTMAS!

Ok it's not, it's actually 10th Feb, but there's snow on the ground and I've just scored a hat-trick of the most fan-tacky-tastic Christmas jumpers imaginable, so you can understand my confusion!
As regular readers will know I've been on the hunt for the perfect vintage Christmas jumper for a couple of years now - see. I've been looking for so long, that if I'm honest I was beginning to give up hope, and I certainly never thought I'd find them in a Jewish charity shop in February! I'd always imagined that my perfect Christmas jumper would be a traditional red and white Scandinavian affair, but then I imagined that anything as spectacular as jumper 1 and cardigan 2 existed! Jumper 3 is just in case I'm having an uncharacteristically low-key day. Let's be honest, it's unlikely, but miracles do happen!

All I want for Channukah....

Love Moschino - never has a brand been so appropriately named, as I do indeed majorly LOVE Moschino! Flashy, trashy, shiny, 80's brashness in all its designer glory - I feel Moschino is a brand who truly understand the heart and soul of Miss Sisi G.

And so to these gorgeous gloves. Obviously last year I was maybe just a teensy bit obsessed by a certain pair of Chanel earmuffs (which no one bothered to buy me despite numerous hints and blog posts). Not one to let a total lack of interest from others stop me in my lusting tracks, this year my winter accessory de jour are these rather hermes-zing embellished grey angora Love Moschino gloves.....HOW CUTE!

Family and friends I'm going to make this very simple. Here's the link to My-Wardrobe.com - I'll leave the rest to you....

The early bird catches the Lanvin.....I hope!

God it's cold outside! I don't know what's wrong with me these past few days but I keep forgetting just how cold it is and going out dressed for Spring (ie. flimsy culottes and little jackets!). After very nearly losing a couple of fingers to frostbite this afternoon (fingerless gloves really not cutting it), I've decided to take full advantage of my freelance status and work from under my duvet all day tomorrow!

Even the icy weather can't dampen my excitement for the Lanvin for H&M (or Lanvin HEARTS H&M as I like to call it) launch tomorrow though. Like most of the fashion world I've become slightly obsessed with this collaboration - even going so far as to call it 'The best designer/ High street collaboration EVER' in a piece I wrote for MSN (if you haven't yet read it click here).

As if the beautiful clothes and crazy sexy cool ad campaign weren't enough, last week Alber threw a massive chi chi party in NY and put on one of the most exciting, playful and beautiful catwalks I've ever seen. Everything about it is just fabulous - from Anna Dello Russo walking, to the sensational styling (having seen this I am now obsessed with wanting red polka dot and pink leopard print tights, and utterly convinced that I need the entire collection).

So sit back with a cup of hot chocolate and witness fashion at it's very best....

...Oh, and don't forget to set your alarms for the morning, as for one day only the only bird catches the Lanvin!

Go East....

Tonight I was lucky enough to bag myself the hottest (or coldest as it turned out) ticket in town. When I first heard about the Studio East/ Bistrotheque dinner I was desperate to get in, and when, at 5.45 the amazing Melanie Rickey managed to get me on the list (thank you a mill Mel) I could hardly re-tie my topknot and slap on another layer or mascara quick enough…

The low-down…
Studio East is ‘a cultural initiative to identify and support emerging talent’ launched by Westfield Stratford East i.e. East London's soon-to-be brand spanking new retail nirvana on the Olympic site. A committee of 8 cultural bigwigs (from Erin O’Connor to Tom Dixon) chaired by Mary Portas, have been scrapping it out for over a year to choose their respective mini-me’s in the categories of Fashion, Art, Product design and Environment.

The party…
Was fabulous, if a tad cold (London in June + being on a roof + a temporary structure + only 3 heaters = Roksanda in her husbands coat and the rest of us with icicle fingers). In fact, I was so cold that at one point I seriously tried to figure out how I could insulate myself with one of the giant plastic curtains (seen above)...answer was I couldn't, but the fact is the desperation was there! On the plus side I think I managed to drop a stone shivering. Ace! Apart from the chill it was a party to remember for all the right reasons. Guests were whisked by train from the Champagne bar in St. Pancras to the Westfield Stratford East building site. We were then ushered onto the roof Big Brother/ 24 stylee, and then wined and dined in plush make-shift surroundings with the rest of London’s most fabulous and influential people (Tracey Emin, Roland Mouret, Roksanda Illincic, Mary Portas, Mandi Lennard, Brix Smith-Start…the list goes on).

The food and drink…
Were amazing. Patron cocktails (I never thought I’d drink Tequila in a civilised setting), and coffee flavoured Patron over vanilla ice cream (aka. dessert heaven), rocked my world, whilst the roast beef and horseradish made me wish I was all alone so I could scoff uninhibited by beautiful people and polite company.

Massive congratulations…
To the incredibly talented Julian J Smith, who won the fashion prize (seen here celebrating in admirable style). I had the pleasure/ luck of sitting next to him at dinner, and can honestly hand-on-heart no-word-of-a-lie say that he is the most lovely, down to earth, friendly bundle of joy and modesty you could ever wish to meet; his win filled the whole roof with delight! Julian will now be designing the uniform for the Westfield Stratford staff…forget going freelance, I’m gonna get me a job there!!!

Anyway - I've had one to many nightcaps this evening, been on one too many modes of transport, and have been blogging for, um, well, far longer than you'd think by the quality of this post....off to bed before I'm late for work a-gain!!!
