Kitten heels for xoJane
Meow! How'd you like my badass new photoshop skillz? As you can probably tell I'm rather chuffed with them! Anyway, last week I wrote a feature for xoJane about my love of kitten heels. In recent years I've become increasingly fed-up with the rising height of high heels (and with it my rising inability to go an entire night in a pair). It got to the stage where I had to admit defeat and bow out gracefully, and so for the past couple of years I've been wearing lots of flats. Sometimes you just need an extra little bit of lift and elegance though, and that my friends is where the kitten heel comes in. Anyway, don't let me ruin the feature for you; to read my top 5 reasons for loving kitten heels and see my pick of this season's crop click through to xoJane here.

Get me to The Church on time...
No, I'm not getting married in the morning...far more exciting than that, as last Wednesday I was able to live my teen-dreams of being a world famous, award winning, recording artist vicariously through Charlotte Church! Ok - so I never actually dreamt of being a pop star, but spending 17 hours on the shoot for Charlotte's new single last week (which is great btw) did make me wish I could hold a tune/ be a little bit famous!! It also made Charlotte my new 2nd fave celeb (after interviewing him at Glasto, Mr (Vanilla) Ice will always have a special place in my heart). You know how you're always hearing that famous people are really down-to-earth? Well Charlotte hand-on-heart really really is. In fact, she's the least diva-like person I've probably ever met; even my dad's more of a demanding than she is!! Maybe it's because she's been in the game so long; maybe it's because she's Welsh; whatever it is she's incredibly sweet, incredibly hard-working, and to top it all of is very talented and has a killer body! Enough to make you sick really!
Anyway, enough Charlotte-loving - here are some cheeky pics from the shoot...enjoy!
Our base - Luna Doll vintage shop where we call all the clothes into, edit them down, and generally hang out! This room has become my 2nd home in the last couple of weeks...and no, I haven't tried on all the clothes - I've been very good and resisted!
The shoot - big lights, lots of wires and monitors - not quite the glamour you'd imagine!
Some of the shoes we called in. This selection (all apart from the pair front right) were from Office, and were my faves. I'm totally obsessed with the lace up wedges, and heeled Chelsea boots (front left, and back right respectively)...think I might have to treat myself for LFW!
My 3 year old very very battered biker boots, which despite all the amazing shoes we called-in very nearly made it into the video!! Sadly they were dumped for something slightly more glam in the end though...they're still sulking!
This is lovely Anna, Tamara's other assistant. She was rather taken with this satchel bag which belonged to Kevin Godley, the Direcor. Sadly he was very fond of it too, and wasn't up for sharing!
My last-minute emergency trip to Westfield for extra tights....because although we had about 50 pairs, typically we didn't have the one pair we needed!!!
Charlotte looking gorgeous, with Kevin Godley. By now it was past midnight, and we'd been working since about 9am, and yet Charlotte was still on top form - what a trooper!
Anyway, enough Charlotte-loving - here are some cheeky pics from the shoot...enjoy!

Best day ever: Part 1
Wow, whadda day whadda day whadda day…yesterday was officially the best day ever (bar the whole work thing, as obviously the best day ever would involve being lazy in the sun, not being busy in an office), but apart from that yesterday was totally sublime! It was such a totally fantastic day in fact that I’ve had to break down into 3 parts (show off, moi, never). So, try not to hate me, but here we go….
Best day ever: Part 1
Mum, Dad, Mr Bank Manager, and all sensible friends please look away now. Yesterday began with a financially ill-advised trip to the secret Louboutin sample sale….this is what happened…..
My phone went off very early. After my initial annoyance and three snoozes I remembered why, and cheered up a bit! I met the lovely Simon (of theverysimong.com fame) in the queue with a couple of Starbucks and the long long wait began (1 ½ hours to be precise)……on the cold streets of London. With a mild case of pneumonia we were eventually let in…..and this is what happened next….
After much deliberation, Cinderella ugly sister moments, and a rejected bank card (oh the shame) I eventually left with the following……
Ah….my darling beautiful babies! I’m so happy about these. I love snakeskin shoes, I just think they’re so effortlessly classy and go with everything (well, as much as that’s possible). Also, I’ve just recently been told that my 10 year old denim platforms are beyond repair (RIP), so was looking for a platform sandal replacement. See - they were actually a necessity. Jus-ti-fied baby!
How cute – no? They’re Louboutin Espadrille flats! There’s nothing I don’t love about them. They’re made from the softest softest leather, it’s all I can do to not rub them all over my face (the fact I’ve now worn them out on the mean streets of London has deterred me little). They’re cute. They’re comfy. Oh….and they’re mine, whoop whoop!
Ya what? Loub Hi-Tops??? Oh yes, I did it. For most it may be about the 6-inch heels, but I’m a pragmatist/ lazy girl, and you can’t beat a good old pair of trainers. Especially when they happen to be;
a. Louboutin
b. Gold embroidered white leather
c. Louboutin
Nike – hit the Hi-Road – there are new, shinier, blingier, far more exclusive Hi-Tops in town!

What I'll be wearing AW10/ My-Wardrobe.com press day
I popped into the My-Wardrobe.com press day last night after work to take a peak at all the goodies they have in store for us for next season. Despite the fact that it was like a Krispy Kreme giveaway at a fat fighters meeting as eager bloggers and weary fashionistas all squeezed into the tiny pristine My-Wardrobe townhouse (note to self, never attend a press day after work hours) I’m jolly happy I did, as their buyers have once again excelled themselves. Apologies for the slightly wonky photography (you know it’s not my strong point), but here’s my AW10 My-Wardrobe wishlist….ahhh…..
p.s. Big love to the gorgeous Lauren and always-fabulous Anthony for always showing me love, Sisi G xx
Sonia by Sonia Rykiel
Says what it does on the jumper.
See by Chloe
I’m quite obsessed with pumpkin shaped bags right now - I just love their slouchy laid-back air, and this one also has a long across-the-body strap, so gets extra points.
Love Moschino
When wouldn’t I wear this? Black, tick. Gold, tick. Moschino, tick. It’s just fricking ticking man!
Merle O’Grady
How had I not heard of Merle O’Grady before? Yes, shame on Sisi G! I’m all over these earrings….as soon as they hit they’re mine!
Halston
For once I may have chosen my winter coat before Spring – Hallelujah! I brought a hooded black number this year, and sensible belted grey one the year before, so I’m thinking I’m allowed a slightly impractical red Halston coat for AW10 yeah??
Ash
When I first saw Ash’s wedge healed trainers last year I was embarrassed to admit I liked them. I do though, and these bad boy buckle versions are even hotter. Want.
Mulberry
So shock horror gasp I don’t own a Mulberry bag. I have a Mulberry/ GAP one, but I’m never convinced that really counts. I feel this leopard print Alexa may be the answer to my Mulberry dreams though…Mmmmm….
Forrest & Bob
Introducing what I believe may be the perfect tee. So simple. So sexy. So mine.

Just another fashion week - cut knees, ticket thieves, old friends, new friends and lots of booze
Whadda-day, whadda-day, whadda-day. After a shaky start (literally, I feel over and cut my knee, and a French exchange student laughed at me, so I maturely starred her out then told her to fuck off) – I’ve had an absolutely fan-bloody-tastic day.
You won’t be surprised to hear that I didn’t make it to my first too shows….in fact, I didn’t make it to my third either, because I’m a shit Londoner and never know where anything is and got on the wrong bus! I therefore started my day with cocktails at Somerset house with the gorgeous Angel Jackson girls. Whilst there I met (well, actually kinda accosted) stylist extraordinaire Anna Trevelyan, and made a total prat out of myself telling her how jealous I am that her blog has a disclaimer before you can enter it – smooth, so smooth. After really embarrassingly over staying my welcome (nothing worse that a loiterer, eh) I eventually stumbled to Leicester square for the Alice screening….to realise (i.e. actually read the ticket properly) that I was a day late – twat! Anyway, all’s well that ends well. I made up for my lack of show action by hitting Ann-Sofie Back and PPQ. Get this; I was at queuing to get into th PPQ show and some stole my ticket…can you believe it???? We’d got through the main door into the tent, and then we were just queuing again to get into the actual space. I had my ticket tied to my arm (don’t ask, was tipsy, thought it was a bright idea), and I took my jacket off for a picture (the jumpsuit was properly working for me today – got papped loads….sadly mainly by student papers and other blogs….French Vogue – where art thou???), and my ticket dropped on the floor. Next thing I know some blonde bitch with a Calvin Klein shopping bag has swiped it! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I went storming off to find her and couldn’t, told the pr’s and they said I wasn’t the only one – madness! People, watch your goodie bags! In fact, with people like that about watch your accessories too! Anyway, polished off the day with a bit of a boogie (and by breaking 3 glasses) at the PPQ after party. After only eating an almond croissant all day, and drinking almost constantly since 3 in the afternoon I’ve finally hit (literally) the sack……Ahhhh, what a lovely day though – I met SO many beautiful, talented, generally gorgeous people…love fashion week, love fashion people….kinda hate my shoes!
p.s. meant to be at Betty Jackson at 9am….wish me luck! xxx
My one meal of the day, breakfast on the bus - how glam, not!
My cut knee, boo hoo - the shame, the shame!
Me and Felicity my soulmate meet at last. Love her, love all the Angel Jackson girls - everyone should buy their gorgeous bags! (p.s. please note my 'pimped' AJ bag)!
Um, how much am I loving! It's a friggin holster man!
Mary from The Uniform project blog. Thought she looked AWESOME.
Lovely Holly Fulton necklaces....yes please!
SUPER-skinny model at Sofie-Ann Back...eek!
Fierce earring - part robo-cop, part bluetooth headset - full-on sex!
Crazy greasy, 3-week old hair at Ann-Sofie Back show...I will never (intentionally) be doing this to mine!
A bum veil....wtf?????
Hhhmmmm....not sure this look will translate well to the high-street.....can you imagine the Primark version!
The only full look I actually liked at Ann-Sofie Back - can't resist a bit of double denim action.
Gorgeous Julia my housemate in her pimped out Harpers Mercedes....alright for some!
Mr Gaga! No, not really, but you get what I mean. Not sure how I feel about this....sorry....you are very sweet though!
Jodie Harsh being out-wigged at PPQ - Hilar!
A Fashion Ed in the PPQ FROW dressed as a box of chocolates....odd....
Jo Wood in the PPQ FROW - celeb spot of the day
The PPQ show. Sadly nothing too exciting - typical PPQ, nice, wearable, 80's-ish, black and gold dresses. Blah.
Lee McQueen tribute in BFC tent. Too sad.
Me and the one and only, utterly fabulous Theo at PPQ party. LOVE this boy - he always has a face full of glitter and a heart full of love and mischief.
My good friend Lou, and the soon-to-be-famous-watch-this-name Rian Peters both in MJ T-shirts - I felt very left out!
Rian's superb-for-a-straight-boy shoes....smokin!
I heart your high-top!
My friend Francis (who runs MyTailoredSuit with 3 of our other friends - check it out) and fabulous new PR friend Sunshine
Me....drunk....wearing Rian's hat....was seen shortly after doing a chicken dance and professing my love for a dyson hand dryer....dignified
